Hi and I am glad we connected!!!
I’m Ian Bowers, Owner and President of Frontline Exteriors & Construction. My path in construction has been a little unique—I started with a carpentry apprenticeship, then worked as a project engineer at Findorff, managing projects that ranged from custom residential builds to $100M commercial jobs. Later, I went on to run one of the largest construction supply branches in the country. All of those experiences—hands-on carpentry, project management, and business leadership—really shaped how I approach building and business today.
Frontline was born out of two passions: construction and people. I wanted to create a company that not only installs roofs, siding, windows, and doors, but also makes the process easy and trustworthy for clients. At the end of the day, it’s not just about putting materials on a house—it’s about protecting homes, adding value, and building long-term relationships.
We’re certified with GAF, Malarkey, LP, and James Hardie, we install Andersen Windows, and we’re proud to be active members of the Exterior Contractor Alliance, NRCA, WRCA, Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce, Madison Black Chamber of Commerce, and the BBB. Those partnerships keep us connected, accountable, and always learning.
And here’s the story behind our name—before all of this, I served a tour in Iraq as an infantryman. The lessons I learned on the front line—discipline, teamwork, resilience—are the same ones I’ve carried into Frontline Exteriors. That’s where the name comes from.
I love connecting with people, so I’m always curious—what kind of projects are you seeing the most interest in lately? Or if you’re a homeowner yourself, what part of your home’s exterior do you think about upgrading first?
