Meet Wayne Mitchell, the owner of Caring Senior Service of Northern Virginia. Advocating for Aging in Place with Dignity, Guidance, and Peace of Mind

Wayne Mitchell is a senior care advocate dedicated to helping families navigate the challenges of aging with confidence.

With a background as an Advanced Life Support Paramedic and over 30 years in leadership—including work with military families—he brings both clinical insight and real-world experience to senior care.

After struggling to find the right care for his own parents, Wayne recognized a gap in how families are supported through the aging process. That experience sparked a mission: to create a better, more compassionate approach to in-home senior care—one that prioritizes dignity, guidance, and peace of mind.

He is also a co-author of 2 books, Aging in Place Conversations and Difficult Aging in Place Conversations, helping families make informed, confident decisions about care.
